Thread: Is this a factory seat fabric?

Is this a factory seat fabric?

This fabric in my '75 911S seats looks like it could be original material (one person who saw the car a couple of years ago said this was a euro option?). Anyone here seen, or have a material swatches book for this year, where you that you can look up and check for me? Thanks, John

    HI John,
I Have the full color and sample book for '75 and it doesnt show this material. Could have been special order though. Based on the paint color, this could have been Ferry's personal car.

Wow, what a beauty. Is that the original color? That's the first time I have seen that interior. If I were you I would get a COA that would let you know if you had a special order car.

    Rob:
Yep, that's a factory color.....Emerald Green Metalic....one of my favorite colors ever...but maybe that's because I walked by a car that look almost exactly like this one on the way to school. It was a stock '75 that Weldon flared and stuffed an RS engine in the back of...I don't recall if Weldon wrecked it or not, but someone did and it spent about 5 months at our local body shop...I dreamed of owning that car everyday back and forth to school....

JPLonghood: Where did you find this car? It looks just like the car I dreamed of as a kid....Weldon wasn't sure where his old car went, but if your car has an RS engine in it...I know that car from a long time ago...<grin>....DM
