    Horn Grill area

    A dumb question, but I need some help, was the area behind the horn grill(s) painted anything other than the body color prior to installing the horn grills by the factory?

    It's an early 68 SWT, at least if its the car that John has been posting the restore progress on.

    It is an early '68 (completed early Sept '67) soft window Targa S...thanks for any help you can provide.
