What year does this recaro sport seat belong to?

My recaro sportseat knowledge is pretty limited. Is this correct for a 68 model year or 69-73? head rest mounts on top - not in the back with thumbscrews, therefore I know it is not a 67 or earlier seat. Any quick help appreciated.

That's a 68 seat. The 69-73 seats had the slide lever as part of the mounts and not built into the seat itself.

    Cheers,

Well actually Recaro sold this seat for many years into the aftermarket, it was first seen in 1968. You can find this seat advertised for many years by Recaro in Panorama.

Of course, the Porsche application would be 1968 just as Michael has indicated!

Don´t forget that the Slider parts are missing - expect them hard and / or $$$ to find.
