    That's a lovely car!

So, in a big circle; was there a 914/4 built in '69? Or maybe I should take a closer look at the 69 912 on eBay?

The Midget/Sprite crowd run in under 1300 (Sba). The 912 would be in 1300-1600 (Sbb). Andre's Datsun is in this class, but he is shortly moving to a 2.0 litre motor so will end up in Sbc. Don't know what else is in Sbb - Lancias??

Ps. Laurie's TVR is looking like the outright Sb to beat.

Hmmm, looked again and there doesn't appear to be a Sbb only Sba and Sbc?

John - there is one 914/4 currently running in Sb. From memory it's a 70 but they have given it a Sb logbook. I think you might be stuck with cis in a teener whereas a 912 can probably run carbs.

There is a 1300-1600 class, running the Lotus Elan, Datsun Fairlady & Lancia Fulvia. Not the most competitive class (as in not that many cars competing) but still, there is competition.

Must check my lottery ticket I bought yesterday.

But then I'd be starting in regularity anyway!

Seen this car in the flesh. Sorry to hear that it has to be sold due to health. Could be a good thing in Sb, except that you would be against 2.0 litre 911's. Would be interesting to see how it would go. I wonder if it could compete in the 1300cc-1600cc class?
