    Parcel shelf replacement

    Im the process of replacing my rusty parcel shelf with a new one I bought from Marek.

    Does anyone have pictures of the process, always nice to have some reference work!

    I´ve drilled out most of the spot welds but it seems you have to cut out the rear section of it to get it out?

    Jesse,

    I'm no help to you, I just wanted to get in on this thread, as the rear parcel shelf in my 69 is shot as well. I have a sorta-good one cut from a donor car, but that was prior to the new sheet metal being available.

    Did the same on my '72 recently and pretty much had to do the same as you did. I used a piece from a donor car and also had to replace part of the rear window frame. The back corners under the window frame were a challenge, both in removing the original piece and fitting the replacement piece.
