Grill police question...

So I have seen many variations...but as I am restoring a 70-71 grill, I have the chance to make it correct. It is completely disassembled and sandblasted where necessary. I am waiting to reassemble it until I have confidence in what it orignally looked like out of the factory. Two colors involved, black and polished (or silver). My understanding is that the screens are black as well as the verticals, and the horizontal "vanes" are polished. I have seen them all black, and all silver. Some guidance here would be appreciated.

for 70-71, this IS correct.

*Actually, the verticals are matt black on their top only, their sides and rear are silver/polished.
*The screens are throughly matt black, both front and rear.
*The horizontals are all silver/polished.
