    Re-grind 73 1/2 CIS cams?

I recently removed the CIS and installed Webers. Anybody know if I can use my CIS cams as a core and have them re-ground to 2.2 E or S specs? Future plans include E or S cams and 2.2 pistons with my 2.4 cylinders. Thanks in advance,
    Christian

You need to call a cam grinder such as Elgin (my favorite) to verify, but I'm sure I've been told you can't get more than an E from CIS cams. Now that billets are available you can get pretty much what you want from that method.

John D. has the DC 10, an 'upgrade' cam for CIS cams.

I would suggest to contact him for further information.
