I recently did this to my 70S.
Stoddard was selling the calipers new for only a little more than a rebuilt set of used ones. Steve at Rennsport can do the machining on the rear calipers and supply the rotors.

For the difference in $$$ I would go with new parts

Porsche is out of stock on these currently... I'm trying to wait patiently for mine.

I bought Stoddard's last set and did all the conversion machining locally.

The only grinding is on the face of the caliper. The machining of the rears involves lopping off the mounting ears and relocating the holes. Additionally you will need new brake lines, special spacers and bolts. It gets more complicated if you put in a bigger master cylinder. You will need an aluminum cross member for clearance and a special angled fitting for the master cylinder, then you need to clearance the gravel pan.

Or, you could just ask me for help.

    Merry Christmas.

You can likely see pics of the rear caliper modification on the VCI site - if not email me and I'll see if I have pictures. Did you get the photobucket album I sent you? interested?
