    Early 911/912 hood badge NOS

Not one of mine... Lots of recent discussion on these. Here's an extremely nice one, claims to be NOS, looks pretty darn good even if it's not!

AFAIK, early (orange) original badge had a smooth finish on the back - no pimples.

There are at least 2 versions, later ones had pebbles on back.

This is my learned opinion also. Glad to see others with the same info.
Check out the Pelican thread on this ebay auction for a laugh.

Is this your latest project? BTW you do know that in the for sale section you have to add a price ;-)

    Just kidding, nice collection Eric.

None for sale! These will all find their way to cars over time, bought these years ago when they were much less expensive than now (and back when I had money!).

I certainly wouldn't try to do these, I've got a little too much visibility to do a "logo'd" item. I think Carl should do them!, his attention to detail would certainly yield a perfect repro I would think...

I've got a car you could put one of those badges on. Since none are for sale, you should just give it to me.

    Merry Christmas, Esso.
