NOS early right rear taillight assembly - damaged

New, very old stock assembly in a Bosch box. Correct for 1965 - 1968 cars I believe. Looks like it was dropped on the corner. I think the damage is limited to just the lens, but I didn't want to delve into it to find out for sure. Part number on the housing is 901.631.404.01. Not sure how to price this and I know I have to post one, so I'll start by asking $325.00

Is this still considered "New Old Stock" if it is damaged like this ? ! ? !

This does not seem to qualify as new anymore if damaged !

No Porsche dealer could sell me a damaged part for my GT3RS and call it "New" just because it is still in the box!

What am I missing here !

What does being damaged have to do with being "new old stock"? NOS to me means that it's new, having never been installed or used, but is old stock, meaning that it wasn't produced/manufactured recently. I bought a pool sweep a couple months ago and it arrived new, in the box, but when I took it out of the box, I discovered it was damaged in shipment. Does that make it not new anymore? In my opinion, damaged and NOS are two completely separate, different terms and can be used together. Just because something is damaged doesn't negate that it's new/unused.
