    Wanted - Core 1970 door handle/lock cylinder

I need a passenger side lock cylinder for a 1970 911. This is the vertical key opening as they went to a horizontal key opening in 1971. I will buy a beat up handle as long as the lock bezel and cylinder is in good shape.

    Thanks

Actually I may have this backwards. Anyone with a 70 that can check for me which way the key slot is in the door handle?

I think the cylinders are still the same. With a square connection to the lock, there should be 4 possible positions to install it. I have a few cylinders, but not sure of the year that I can get to you this week.

Hi, yes the 1970 handle is unique and goes from east to west. If you get stuck I will have one but I am in the UK.

    In case a pic helps
