    Anyone know this car/seller?

Found this on eBay. It's nearby so I was thinking of taking a look. Anyone here know the car/seller/builder? What do you all think of the build?

    Any help is appreciated.

Looks like a potentially nice one. Current bid is definitley on the low end for what this car MIGHT be. I'm far from an expert, but would encourage you to go look in person since it is "nearby".

Personally, I'm not a big fan of the "red fan blade" look, but some like it. A thorough PPI from a respected independent expert is mandatory, if you seriously consider purchasing. I'd also encourage you to spring for the cost of a chassis dyno run, since the engine is obviously not original. It's a pretty cheap investment to learn a lot about an engine that is very expensive to fix or to learn you haven't got what you thought you had. Your handle and avatar suggest you know a thing or two about expensive engines

I, for one, would be a bit nervous having a single piece of metal that close to both battery terminals...maybe it's just me, but it doesn't take much to get the battery to slightly shift around - just so - under load.
The good news is this car appears to have plenty of potential and upside to the right buyer. All the nitnoids I noticed can be easily attended to (the battery clamp for one). Not sure I understand the thinking behind the welded in frame for the fuel cell, though...

Best of luck to both the seller and any potential buyers.

    Cheers
    R/Thom

Thanks for the input. Not my idea of the ideal build, but a potentially nice one. Sent message through bay to seller but have not heard back.

There is some auction weirdness going on here. There were 9 bids and it was up to 39,500. Now there are 5 bids and it's at 20,100 AND there is a new BIN of 45,000. Same auction...not relisted.
