    Anyone in germany?

Is there anyone in germany who would be willing to help me with an ebay auction for some goodies for my 912? the seller will not allow bids from outside of germany

will pay all costs/fees, shipping to your place, and then again to my place in the us. will also pay you a fee for your troubles.

email or pm me if you can help, the auction ends in 2 days.
    thanks,

    Harry

Not meaning to hijack but I want to chime in re Harry's problem as I have a similar problem where the sellers will sell the items but not ship out of Germany. I thought there might be a freight forwarding company or enterprising German fellow enthusiest who would be ageeable to receive parts and then forward (for a reasonable fee) the goods to the US. Any suggestions would be appreciated

Wow Harry, looks like you are taking the addiction to another level with International Porsche transactions. I guess the stripped down carcass in your driveway was our first clue.

you should ask my fiance.. its like i have been freebasing rust, and shooting up brake fluid. Though the rusted hulk in the driveway did put a ring on her finger and is helping pay a little of the wedding so she cant complain at all. though this transaction is just for me and my 12..

i have been making a lot of international transactions lately, buying the occasional goody here and there for myself, but this one is proving to be tough.. the frauline wont budge on international shipping, despite the fact that 90% of what i buy has been in germany and 100% feedback rating on fleabay.. .

I have a small package coming from Vienna in a week or so. If it is small and she will ship to Austria, I can give you my contact there.

You guys are awesome. I should have posted for help on the registry for some parts I bought on eBay.de recently. The main PITA with the German transactions typically isn't shipping, it's paying for the item. Germany makes bank wire transfers very easy for those with German bank accounts and as a result most German sellers don't accept PayPal. I ended up paying about $100US in fees & shipping for a small $60 item.

Should have thought of asking my registry brothers (and sisters) for help.

Thanks for the emails and PMs. I should be ok at this point and am on the right path.

I only had to deal with that once Kent.. sent an international money order instead.. you're right a pain indeed
