    FS: shifter and AMCO wooden knob, 5 speed

    Shifter and wooden amco knob from 67 car, with 5 speed pattern. great condition, excellent patina.

    Harry, Nice lookign piece. Curious to know if a the 67 SWB shifter will work properly on a69 and later LWB model 901 gearbox...

    it 'should' work.. but the difference in shifters is the rod is threaded on the end for the knob on the early ones, where as 68 and later are preassure fit. the other big difference think is the heater lever... teh heater lever on the later ones is on teh side and on the early is in front like this..

    now.. if you really want this, what you could do, and what i think should work (but am not 100% sure of course), is you should be able to remove teh rod and the knob and swap it in your later shifter body.... not sure if you want to go to all that since this knob is available for preassure fit later models too (i have a preassure fit one like this on my 912). for clarification this knob is screw on.

    im not an expert so take a look at your set up to compare and consult the experts on the tech forum...
