    Exclamation Time to help out.........

It's that time again to ask you to give a little back to the club that brings you this message board and volunteer a few hours of your time and help John Dilger, Mike Hammond, Fred Trueman, and me at our Early 911S Registry booths for the event weekend. We REALLY need the help for the Sunday swap meet. Please volunteer an hour or so of your time to help promote our club, sell some Registry merchandise, and just greet other members of our community....

Please contact John Dilger to schedule some time... again, we mostly need the help for the swap meet on Sunday.
    JohnDilger@aol.com

Cheers and thanks for your support,

    The S Registry

Is there an unofficial itinerary for the weekend? I have been green-lighted by the 'powers that be' to check this out. I'll be parachuting in Friday night, and I want to make the most of the weekend and see the spots I normally only read about here and in the magazines.

    Thanks,
    Mike

Lightbulb Parking for the Sunday Swap...

As years before I'll try to lead the group of Early 911s into the Swap event at 8:00 am Sunday March 4th so we can all park together in the patio area of the Phoenix Club.

I have posted down loadable files of our respected club's parking passes to be put in your windows so the event people know where you should be parked. And as always PLEASE have your $20.00 entry fee ready in hand as you enter.

    John Dilger writes this:
Each car coming in for Porsche display parking will make a donation of $20.00. The parking pass will ensure that you are directed to the patio area where the Early 911S Registry and R Gruppe members will park. Please display on the windshield or show it to the people directing traffic. The gates open to the Porsche parking on the grounds of the Phoenix Club at 8 AM.
Please fill out a few "Vehicle Details" on the parking passes so spectators can appreciate more of what they're admiring......

Stay tuned for further info on when and how we will start lining up Sunday morning...

And PLEASE contact John D. if you can set a bit of time out to help us at our S Registry booths for the Sat. and Sun. events:

    Thanks,
    Chuck

Lightbulb Line up and heading in...

As you guys have read by now the Sunday swap event is at the Phoenix Club at 1340 South Sanderson, Anaheim. We’ll be lining up and entering the event as we have done for the last three years...

    For those first timers:
Sanderson is just off of Phoenix Club Drive. If you’re stating at the Ayres hotel, we’ll be heading North on the 57 FWY and exiting the first exit at Ball Rd. Heading East (right) on Ball to the first street which is Phoenix Club Dr. turn right (South) to the second Street which is Sanderson. If you’re not starting at the Ayres Hotel then Map Quest the address.

The entrance to the event will be on your left… SO… we will go to the end of the street, turn around, and line up on SOUTH side of the street heading East so we can enter making a RIGHT TURN into the parking lot (instead of making a left against oncoming cars)………. Make since so far?

Now the line will start to get pretty long, so like years past we will line up so the line will go around where we turned and double back on the NORTH side of the street all the way back to Phoenix Club Dr. if need be…….. Simple

Once we start heading into the event PLEASE have your $20 READY and when the parking attendants see your PARKING PASS, which you have downloaded from the above post, they will direct you to the Early 911 area so we can hopefully all park together…

The event opens to the public at 8AM … Jeff has said he's expecting more cars then EVER before so let’s start lining up about 6:30...

    ALSO:
John Dilger and Mike Hammond will already be on the grounds setting up the S Registry booth, so we will need volunteers to help Jeff by directing parking for our early cars in the patio area. So if you are on the grounds early as a vendor, or helping a vendor, or happen to get on the grounds before we load in PLEASE help us at the patio area with parking. And if you know now you'll be on the grounds before the 8AM entry and are willing to help PLEASE let John Dilger know now..
