FS: Suspension inserts for your early 911 by OHLINS

    World premire on the early911sreg

Develop By ex world champ Ake Andersson and Waldegaard

This suspension inserts are state of the art ,
If you consider serious road handling, rallyexperience, trackdays, drop me a mail

Remember Ohlins are among the worlds finest , if you buy a new Ferrari, Lamborghini, Ducati its all Ohlins
I even remember reading somewhere ,one of the Singer cars had Ohlins suspension, cant confirm this 100%

For now, they are ONLY at present time avalible to fit Bielstein struts,
Asap as the winter time is over , a insert based on the same technologi, will be tested for the Koni struts
but first planned for mid summer 2012!

    Front insert, without adjustment € 865.- /each
    Front insert with adjust € 900.- /each
    Rear € 640.- /each

more tech info below / Pics will come asap ,
incl a full road report from a US early911sreg driver.-) first kit in the mail

The front damper is available in a non-adjustable
and an adjustable version. The non-adjustable
version is based on a 40 mm cylinder tube that fits
into the original Porsche outer tube.
The piston shaft is 12 mm and has a balanced
setting developed for both Tarmac and Gravel.
The product is classical Öhlins and therefore
completely rebuildable and possible to tailor make
    settins for.
The front adjustable version has a 16 mm
piston shaft hollowed with a valve and jet that is
externally adjustable. This one adjuster adjusts
both compression and rebound with the use
of a bleed system and also has a temperature
compensating system. It is also fully rebuildable
and possible to tailor make settins for.
The rear shock has a 46 mm damping piston
used together with a 16 mm piston shaft with
compression and rebound adjustable with one
external adjuster. This design also has the
temperature compensating system and is of
course rebuildable and possible to tailor make
    settings for.
This combination of Öhlins front and rear has
already shown top performance in various Historic rallies

    Enjoy

I've used Ohlins on my track cars and they are top notch. They are also surprisingly comfortable for street use - click them down and you're good to go.

Prices are not bad too. I remember paying something like 3.5K for a set of adjustable.

    Hi David

No they are not gas , I post specs ASAP

This took me LOOONG time to convince Ohlins, to make a series for early911 cars
they did a few once, on custom orders , but now we put this model in production

This is handcrafted TOP NOTCH quality, and they are really wort every cent
They have been develop by Ake Andersson / Waldegarrd for the last year, on various rallies and race tracks

Ake have been working for Ohlins for the last 30 years , he develop the suspension for the Volvo 850R among others remember glory days ;-)

I will keep you posted with more info asap

We have Öhlins suspension on our Porsche 911 L 1968 well-known old rally car. We mounted Ohlis shock absorbers for Monte-Carlo Rally History January 2011 Ake Andersson drove the car. The car has worked perfectly with that kind of shock absorber

Thomas, i don't understand if the Marek's rear suspensions offered in this 3d are ready also to mount in a SWB car or you used other Ohlins suspension type for the 68L????

And , if it' s possible, can you tell us the dimensions of rear and front torsion + sway bars used on that car in 2011??

    Thanks

    Hi Andrea

As mention earlier , Ake Andersson have been working for Ohlins for 30 Year , Ohlins have made custom orders for many years on various 911 types
But This is the first time they offer a kit for sale in "public"
The set ups have been developed over years ,due to Ake´s and Waldegaards 911 experience like the Monte in Thomas car,
For now they are only ready for Bielstein struts, But they will be avalible for koni Struts shortly
For Uk interested parties ,. these are being dispaly at the Ohlins stand at the Motor show this weekend , come and visit
I will post specs and more pics this comming week, due to all tech guys from Ohlins are at the motorshow in UK this weekend

Regards and thanks for the massiv interest

    Marek
