    24 Hours @ Daytona

Who's going? Anyone interested in an organized gathering? I arrive late on Thursday night. Staying out at the beach.

Hotel? Last time I went was the 40th anniversary, brought a sleeping bag and slept in my CSL in the BMW corral. Coooold.

Was thinking about doing the same thing again, and at least the 911 seat reclines. But was there in November and saw all
the freakin' chainlink fence they've installed everywhere. Wandering around the track at 2-6AM for great views isn't possible
    anymore. The vibe is gone.

Infield already sold out. Parking inside will be a nightmare. Wish I had the chain link concession

Flying in Friday morning. Still don't know where I'm going to stay... Probably at the track.

If looking for a place to stay consider New Smryna Beach just 20 minutes South. It's a nice town -- I stayed there often when attending Daytona 200 bike races. Longboard Inn (reasonable and walking distance to beach) or Riverview Charlie's, or Holiday Inn.

I plan on driving the GT3 down from NY. The PCA has the parking coral so if you drive your Porsche parking should be easy. I hope...
