Thanks for the lead. I don't go to The Samba very often. In my mind, this is a better forum with more reasonable prices.

In the last 7 days, there have been 2 ads here, for $700 and for $750 per wheel. I think there's an ebay set for $3,400 that's been on for a month or more. Asking prices of $1k per wheel for 4.5s are pretty common, but they tend to linger on the market a bit.

Nonetheless, it's good to have 'cross-over' information, and more of our members are better informed.
