Vintage Taiyo Martini Porsche 917 metal bump and go car works with original box

Taiyo Martini Porsche 917 metal bump and go car, it works and is in its original box. Old, I don't know the exact vintage. The car is metal, it feels like tin and the detail is quite good.

The car works, turning it on starts the rear wheels spinning, it goes until it hits something and goes off in another direction. It is supposed to not get stuck in corners and it is supposed to not fall off of tables. I tried the corner part, it got itself out, I did not try the table. And a red light flashes in the engine compartment. In the box is a sheet of paper with ads for the other cars they made on one side and instructions for tabletop use on the other.

It takes two C batteries. The box is in very good shape, the car is excellent. The only flaws are that you can see small chips in the paint where it bumps on the corners, and there are cracks on either side of the on/off switch. Scale not given, it looks like maybe 1:18, 10 inches or so long. Batteries not included, $75/US delivered. My email is cs8815 at aol dot com.
