    blue trucking

i just came across this picture of my blue 71 T, it was taken when i viewed the car 5 years ago before purchasing. how time flies.

That was near Richmond VA, i had seen the ad on craigslist. The car now has a little bit more miles on it, and i think Jim G or somebody pointed out they could identify a new stonechip last time we met (come on )

a couple thousand miles of stone chips later and trying to keep up with S-motors and 3.0 and 3.2s. The interior has been on a heavy diet of lotsa soda cans, banana peels and muffin wraps.

i bought it without PPI. but the prev owner drove it the 3 hrs to deliver to me. That has set the tone of this car for me. It trucks. It now hibernates on top of a hill.

In the picture the previous owner had a coat of wax on it

    Channeling my inner Reza

    My favorite T.......

Picture 1 is the first time I ever met Reza w/ Kolesa @ first Mountain rally. It was a 4spd with a suspension set-up for forging streams.... Yet it was driven in a highly determined fashion to keep up with the Garfields, Danas, Lukes, Lewiss, Jens and Stevens. My most memorable experience with it was a trip to Allentown w/ my son... sunroof open radio blaring..... a very cool ride... my favorite of Reza's collection...

The stone chips are what I like best about the car, even have a few on mine. You must have missed the ironic arch of my eyebrow, impossible to tell new from old - there are so many.

went to replace a lightbulb, but found out it was the original seal beam assembly. luckily mister karate kid had one available which he gave me for a small consideration.

there is mud i had to remove first. might as well. it is not the same place as the backseat floor.
