    68 911S found....right under my nose.

    Pulled my racecar out of storage after a 2 year slumber. For some reason I decided to check the VIN and much to my surprise it started life as a 68 911S. Who knew the 911S would be so sought after 20+ years ago when it was used as a donor for this build. It is too far past the point of no return for a street car but it might be possible to return it to a 911S racecar. At the moment it is 3.4 L single turbo powered fiberglass racer.

    Congrats on the "find". Times have certainly changed haven't they. The days of affordable donor longhoods seem to be behind us
    Even though she's lacking her original looks, she still looks fun as hell.
    Keep us posted on the story if you decide to backdate.

    in this context, there's something 'big hair' about the 993 look, given the now known origins.
