    FS 1969 -73 Tool Kit - Almost Complete - What's it worth?

2 cars, 3 tool kits so this one has to go. I have an interested party but I am not sure what it is worth. Any insight would be appreciated.

    Thanks - Chris

Its a incomplete set missing the most valuable items, the screwdrivers, as well as a wrench and other bits. Also the tool bag and tools are in fair to poor condition, they will never meet concours standards. It would be nice as a driver quality starter set for someone who wants to go on scavenger hunts at swap meets. If I were selling that tool kit I would ask $350

The individual pieces will bring well over $300, possibly $400+, depending on how bad somebody needs each piece. High water sales over the last year tracked by Terapeak clearly indicate this.

You want to bring the most out of it? Put it all individually on ebay. Put links to your items for sale here and on Pelican. Let them all go out at "no reserve". Collect the checks when done.

    cheers,

If you (or your interested party) decide to go such a route, I should soon have a decent 8x9mm DFS wrench to fill that void at least.

Thanks to all for your responses. I will reach out to my potential buyer and if he doesn't take this I will probably post it for sale as it stands or complete the kit and do the touch up. Tools really are not bad in person and I think will clean up nicely.
As far as I can tell based on my other kits, this kit is missing the 1 box wrench, the belt, two screwdrivers, the towel and fuses. Pliers I are Haphew (sp?) and I thought one of the suppliers for LWB cars, although my other two kits have no brand marking so maybe I am wrong. I have the belt so not much to add the others except the screw drivers.
Thnaks Again to all who posted and PM'ed me.

Chris, although I waited a week for photos that werent sent I am not interested in the partial kit so post it by all means. I wouldnt list them on ebay, fees are too high and bids can be pretty low. List them on EarlyS, Pelican or Samba for best results. Rick
