    Need help with window seals

I am trying to remove the original seal around the side window on a 1973 911 coupe. Do I need to remove the door panel to replace this?
    Thanks

Are you talking about the felt strip in the window channel?

Yes. The original felt strip has metal piece embedded in it. It is glued in and extremely difficult to pull out.

They can be really tough to get out!
You can use a flat screwdriver, just be careful!
You can give me a call at 818 469 1811 I can explain it better over the phone.

Is it a continuous piece down inside the door? If so I don't see how to get it all out. I will try to call you tomorrow. Thanks.
