Damn - you've uncovered my plan. It's the standard evil capitalist ploy - corner the market, create a shortage, flip when the time is ripe. Then retire to Costa Rica, maybe open a little jet ski concession on the beach. If I can ever master the sell and let it go part, I've got this deal licked.
The blue car has been a pleasant surprise - a little better than expected. It's sitting in the garage, AC and front bumper removed, getting little stuff done as I collect parts. As soon as I finish up my SWT, it's on the the body shop for a bare metal redo in Rubyrot. About a year to completion.
Help with details and sources would be greatly appreciated - I don't know the '65's, and they are unique in many small ways; currently gathering data.

Hindsight is 20/20 but ebay would have been a wise decision to begin with... however that would have eliminated tons of fun and a locked down thread which is usually a noteworthy trophy.

Is this where the pool starts to speculate as to what it will bring?

Al Holbert attended Lehigh and according to a recent Excellence, drove a Speedster (not a 911 as stated in the Ebay listing) while there. The Speedster came into the family P store on trade.

Yeah, well I tried it with 67S's trying to be just like the Hunt bros, but you gotta sell em' and I pretty much haven't done that, or I bought another to replace the one that went out the door!

Good to hear the blue one is working out. What's up with the SWT? I have 3 of them right now in various stages, you going to start a thread on that one? you have any pics to post?
