Thread: FS: 1973 horn brackets for red horns

FS: 1973 horn brackets for red horns

I had a need to make a copy of the original horn brackets for the long and short horn as fitted to 73 cars from mid January onwards

Any one else want a set? $70 US plus shipping from down under they will come powder coated in satin black and are a great match to originals.

Those in the pics are the prototypes and a couple of minor flaws will be fixed and the prototypes are rough painted not powder coated

While I don't expect great demand if enough people want them maybe the price can go down a little.

Probably 2 weeks before ready after I let this post run a little

What is the difference between 73`s & 72`s regarding horns...My 72 T has a broken short red horn pointing toward the ground and a black non-trumpet horn mounted, pointing forward of the car!?

The horns pictured at the start of the thread are found on most post January 73 cars not 100% sure of what belongs on 72 cars

Just a guess, horns are pointed downward when installed with the brackets shown/for sale here?....seems that would work on a 72 as well!Cliff
