Wanted - First style of BOSCH starter 1964-65

Hi,

I am searching for the very first BOSCH starter used for 911 in 1964/65. It has Bosch number 0001208014.
Hope there is one out there.

Isn't that the one with the different tooth count on the pinion, for the early flywheels? Can't yours be rebuilt?

Yep, different tooth count. Really hard to find due to the fact that these things usually done on an exchange basis. I searched for years to find an 002. The 014 was used from 09.64 through 03.65 only.

My car came with a later engine - so no chance for a rebuild. But I scored a correct NOS flywheel and I hope to find the correct starter, too. I know chances are low, as it was used for few month only. The first flywheel has 109 tooth. Is it correct that the later ones have 149 tooth?

Besides the little gear is the starter different as well? BTW do you have a picture of the correct starter, I do have a 001 208 007 if you can use it or make 1 out of 2.
