    Luggage Deposit Carpet

Does anyone know if the Perlon carpet that sits atop the luggage deposit in a short wheelbase car was edged with vinyl all around or did the carpet get pushed down on the three sides where it meets the quarter panels and the rear shelf panel? I'm assuming it was edged.

    Thanks for any info!

    Hi John,

it should be edged with vinyl all around for 1965 cars. I guess it's the same for all SWBs.

From what I've seen, early '65 cars had cloth edging. Like the 356. Not sure when it changed over.

    Hi John,

The early '65 cars had cloth edging in the inside of the car, but vinyl in the luggage deposit.
