Thread: PCA 48hrs @ Sebring from my Seat!

  1. #1

Cool PCA 48hrs @ Sebring from my Seat!

A couple of laps from the black enduro (90 minute). I reset the class record at Sebring (which I held previously) by 1 second!!!

2 liter 1969 911S with DOT tires and my PCA weekend aero package. 2:25:6 is new record! I love beating new cars with the old hardware

I won both sprint races overall and on the enduro finished 2nd overall and 2st in class.

FYI, G Force figures and graphs are inverted as I had the chasecam pointed the wrong way (sorry)

    Thanks guys!

Chuck, I have an idea what went through the mind of the water cooled car..... Our smaller brakes help keep momentum

Reza, pistons and cams are a propietary design by 901 Shop. Cams are a development on the 906 cam profile. HP is over 250HP. 12.5 to 1 compression, twin plugged with dual MSD's. Must run race gas... Awesome and super reliable with service intervals over 80 race hours.

Juan, that was friggin' awesome! Close on target, pick spot, point-attack, commence kill, accelerate away - love it. One 997 kill for the records - put a 997 sticker just below your driver's side mirror.

That engine sounds phenomenal and to get 80 race hours out of it? Unbelieveable. My sister gets only 25 hours if I remember correctly.

Very cool Juan. I'm thinkin' though that Juan in the 997 wouldn't have been passed by Juan in the '69. Good driving.
