    WTB: Used helmet for AX

Anyone have a helmet they no longer use to sell?

    Question

    Bob,

Are hosting an AX and need a supply of varied size helmets?

Or, are you looking for a helmet for yourself to AX? ... if this is the case, please give us an idea of what size you need......

I need a medium. It's just for me. I am registered for the Walters Car Control Clinic on the 18th and rather than get a loaner I figure I should just get one as I plan on AXing as much as I can in the future. Pyrotech has a SA2010 open face for $120.00 new. Should I just go that route?

I autox with PCAOCR at el toro each month...there are generally plenty of loaners down there to use so don't stress.... with that said, if you buy one, I suggest open-face helmets. It makes it easier to communicate with your instructor.

Sorry about the double post. Thanks dave, I think I'll get the one I referred to on Pyroteck website.

Ok... I'll look for you at the autox. Are you participating in both the 18th car clinic and the 19th autox as well?

I registered for the car clinic on the 18th. I was under the impression that the car clinic was the route for me as I have not AX before. I will look into registering for the 19th AX also if I can afford to do both. We contractors are hurtin' in CA.

Gotta helmet. New Pyrotech SA2010 on ebay. Open face. Bid $100.00 they were asking $120.00. They accepted the bid so I'm happy with that price for a new one. Thanks

If you think you'll like day 1, then I suggest you sign up for day 2.
    (here is some motivation)

That is without a doubt motivating. I'm excited as if I just got my Dr lic and dad gave me the keys to his 69 GTO! He would never do that.
