1967 911R Fuchs alloy rear wheels

I have a rear pair of date coded, 1967 911R Fuchs alloys, in great shape. I know they are expensive, but would anyone have any idea what they might really be worth? or where one may find such information? I tried ebay comparison, but no one has sold any for some time.

    Thank you

I would guess around $3,000. Mine are 'weld-up' 7Rs that were then refinished. I paid a little less than $2k, so my guess is that unrestored (but nice) 'real' 7Rs would be in the ballpark I mentioned.

Again, that is simply a guess of the market. I could be (and often am) way off base.

    Cheers,
    Mike

Ahhhh the sixties... I envision myself one early Saturday morning wearing plaid shorts, black shoes with white socks smoking a cigarette heading to the hardware store to buy a bag of nails.

I agree with mike, around 3K, for a acceptable condition pair. The thing to remember is the cost of refinishing, about $350.00 per wheel. So nice fresh pair, maybe $3800. Then there is the how bad do you need it factor?
