    so these will be the correct Hella headlight

    do you think anyone sells the chrome trim ring still

    The PP listing describes this as a non-returnable genuine Porsche part. On the pricey side, but it looks like these should work. Am I missing something or should these trim rings work as replacements for these early Hella lights?
    good question at the Porsche dealer that part number is 95 bucks but doesnt say if chrome or not ,

    Looks like the chrome is underneath the red paint. Why not remove the paint and see what the chrome looks like. You could always have them re-chromed if it's in bad shape. Just a thought.

    +1. I would strip them down. and if they arent good, they can be rechromed. they look straight which is key to rechroming.
