Nice car though , for me the Seats are not right, the bumber trims are thin, not thick like S . the Steering wheel is to modern , the wheels do'nt look right either. The tank is the wrong colour, the air filters on are not period , the windscreen washer tank look wrong , the indicators look like modern replacements , the headlamps look really weird

trim, wheels, wipers, seats, steering wheel upside down, headrests etc. whole pass door panel fom later car, no speaker holes, gaps big enough to drive thru, air cleaners, trunk lites. maybe steering wheel cover on wrong, headlites incorrect and not fitted well, rear view mirror etc etc. door panels look maybe ok but with later inner handles/latches, do not think rubber knobs are right

"TRULY ONE OF THE NICEST EXAMPLES OF THIS EXTREMELY RARE AND SOUGHT AFTER MODEL TO BE FOUND ON EBAY!"

True dat. a 67S sunroof? It's the ONLY one found on Ebay so it IS the nicest example out of all of them on Ebay.

Nice job on painting over the interior light switches in the door jambs, geez. Earl Scheib must have run out of masking tape when he painted it (yesterday?).

Sure to check the reason for the poor rear deck lid fit. Adjustment or pranged?

    OK, I will play...

Here are the non 67S items or at least non-correct stuff.

    1) Gas tank color
    2) Head rests...67s were same as 356.
    3) Dash is wrong...with a radio there should be wholes...and the holes for a 67s are DIFFERENT vs later cars.(ask Tony..)
    4) Rear seats butt pads. There should be scoops.
    5) Lower dash trim is not correct...knee pad trim.
    6) Steering wheel.
    7) Door panels are wrong (look at the passengers side arm rest.)
    8) Window cranks from a later car.
    9) Shift knob from a later car.
    10) Wiper arms are not silver.
    11) Rear bumper guards from a later car..(I could be wrong on this but, didn't the 67s have NO rubber?)
    12) Headlights are not correct.
    13) Wheels are NOT 4.5s (read the tire size)
    14) Exhaust tip (someone needs to call Eric)
    15) Side Decos are NOT for a S. Good luck finding the right parts.
    16) Engine bay stickers
    17) Engine details wrong. Too many things to list. Marco is schooling me on this now...I am sure this car has the
    wrong carbs etc.

Anywho, its still a great looking 67S. Assuming the body is straight it would be a ton of fun to get the details right on
this car. Being that I am in the midst of restoring our 67S I have become somewhat of a reluctant expert on the details.
To make this car 'right' would cost at least $20k...from what I can see. The challenge is finding all the 67S specific parts...interior etc.

Is it worth $90k as is...I would say absolutely.

with so many things wrong makes you wonder about the whole build, its a 67S after all and not a 912

wipers are also parked on the wrong side of the car. And didn't ALL esses have the double combo gauges with oil press and oil level? This one has standard (912?) combo gauges. As to the value.... 90k with all these questionable 'updates' is highly doubtful, IMHO. If you want it REALLY correct, start over from scratch. 60k gone in a flash.
