    Autosport - '73E Targa FS

Targa's typically aren't my cup of tea but this 'E' looks very nice and has a lot going for it....color combo, sport seats, Porsche factory restoration, and low mileage.

....not sure if this has been posted before.

Nice car....John in FL sold it a few years back to Frank G. (both contributors to this forum). At the time, I think John was asking mid 40's for it.

OMG....$48K to $135K in less than 4 years. That's not a bad investment.

.....wonder if it will be worth $380K by 2016?

Asking is not the same as selling, but what the heck, ask for the moon, who knows

Porsche Factory restoration ? Wow that is worth a lot. I would say this car is normally a 75k to 100k car and with factory resto paper work - probably pushing 250 to 300k at auction. good luck with the sale.

Someone should email the factory and let them know that they put the glovebox emblem in the wrong place.

Someone should email the factory and remind them that there's no emblem on the glovebox in MY 1972 and 1973 cars....

I think someone must have meant that the Porsche factory built the car. lol. "Reported to be factory restoration". I don't think so.
But engine sound pad delete 911E's are very rare. The JC Whitney magnetic oil filter band is also a nice touch and sure to score extra points in a concours event.

135k? Really?? Was this Steve McQueen's? What am I missing?
