Need help evaluating the value of my 65 911

Hello All, I'm in need of your help to asses the value of my newest purchase. I found this car in south Georgia a couple of weeks ago. I has been in a shed since 1992.

    My chassis # is 301497
    Engine 9011592
    Color Dolphin gray 6410

This car is in running condition. I'm including a few photos for your reference.

Thank you in advance for your expertise!Attachment 0P1000151.jpgP1000140.jpgP1000182.jpgP1000181.jpgP1000194.jpg[ATTACH=CONFIG]

Great looking car. Is there any rust. Has it been wrecked? Thanks.

Post more pics; want to sell it before it breaks your heart, along with your bank account?

The only rust I can find is a few spots in the pedal well. No obvious repairs.

I think I will pass this one along to someone who will enjoy it. That is why I'm coming to this site first. I've got 3 projects currently in process. P1000126.jpgP1000157.jpgP1000159.jpgP1000160.jpgP1000171.jpg

Great find! Must be a really nice shed because that thing doesn't look worse for the wear having lived in there for 20 years -- in the Deep South no less.

Big question in valuing the car is whether the motor and transmission numbers are appropriate to the car. Prices on 65s have become quite strong. A matching number car in that condition even more so. Post up the numbers - people can give you feedback on whether they're original.

    Good luck!

Pretty thorough repaint. You can see some of the Dolphin Grey showing through here.

Great one year optional color for the 911.
