Over the past couple of years in my search for a black set of Autoflug racing harnesses, I started collecting Autoflug hardware, webbing, patches etc. because I was looking into building a good replica set. I've finally found an original set that cost me an arm and a leg, but had the hardware for the rep. So I sent my originals with the collected hardware/patches/webbing to Gerrit Blankman (NML-Depot) to have it replicated and I must say, he did a great job! I'm keeping one of the reclica sets myself for a next project, but I'm making one set available here.
So..up for sale is a set of 2 Autoflug black racing harnesses with inertia's for the parcel shelf.
The harnesses themselves are rewebbed with correct 5 bar black seatbelt webbing, with stitching pattern matched to the originals.
It has autoflug latches and buckles, even the wider clasp for the buckle of the inertia is correct.
The adjusters are a close match to the autoflug ones, but they do not have the autoflug logo.
The plastic belt retainers are autoflug, but I only had them in light grey. If you don't like them, you can easily slide them of and use the belt without them. Patches are close matching replica's, letters are correct in size and space, just the patch material is a little more grained than the orinals, but the best I've been able to locate. (Its soft and shiny material, Others I've seen are to thick, wrong letters, canvas etc.)
As strange as it might seam, the webbing on the inertias is 9 bar webbing, like the originals. Gerrit checked his belts and they also were the 9 bar webbing for the early sets. The inertia's themselves are early autoflug inertia's and we even put an orange autoflug tag on the webbing stitching.
These are as close to an original set as you will ever get with gathering the separate parts. (Unlike the set that sold on e-bay a while ago, represented as original, but in reality it was a bad replica)
Lots of words, but I wanted to represent them honestly, so you'll know what you are buying.
