    washer pump for MY 1968 mounted on the floor

    Hi All,

    Do they still make these nowadays?? Mine is seriously leaking
    It is mounted on the floor next to the washer bottle

    Any help appreciated

    You can still buy them but they don't look like that. What is the date code stamped on yours? It's on the metal plate on the end.

    It says 01 67, it's an oldie
    The problem is that they look different indeed so that's why the thread
    Does the 928 no. looks close to the one I have/want?

    Egbert they look like this, Siemens/VDO moved the outlets to the inboard side

    Where does it leak from? I assume around the metal flange on the end. If so try taking it apart and using some gasket sealant on the joint.
    These early pumps have the advantage that they can be dismantled (with care) and so you might be able to fix the problem - mine was seized after many years of inaction, but I have it going again now.
