    Before there was Kaizen. . .

    Long before the Worlds Most Profitable Car Company achieved that title, they did things like this:


    The stalk switches cannot come out without loosening the clamp. Looking at this I feared the whole column had to come out- fortunately with the cheese- head screw out the clamp rotates around the steering tube and the plugs slide through.

    That's okay John, 30 years from now nobody will be restoring those cars either. All the cheap plastic connectors will have long since distintigrated.
