Is this a correct jack for my 1972?

    Hi guys,

I'm wondering if you can tell me if the jack in my 1972 911E is the right one? It came with the car when I bought it 3 years ago, and I know that the previous owner had it in the car for his 19 years of ownership. My car was built in december of 1971 if that makes a difference if there were different models of jacks. It does seem to miss a "dish" in one end.

The car is missing it's tool kit, but still has the space saver spare wheel correct for the 85 liter gas tank option. I also have the air bottle that goes with the space saver. Should the spare wheel just lie there without anything preventing it to move up and down when hitting a bump for example?

Just trying to piece together a correct equipped trunk compartment.

I've seen some really nice straps for the spare wheel 356 type around here. Mine does bounce over bumps. Why didn't they put a bracket for the jack too. Mines a 73.
