    Rebuilder for MFI FUEL (ie. not injection) pumps?

    Is anyone rebuilding the factory 3 barb fuel pumps used in MFI cars?

    -> Bosch 0580 970 001 MFI fuel pump

    I did a search but didn't really get any conclusive answers - aside from picking up that the 'new' pumps being offered by Porsche Classic are to be avoided (are aren't being manufacturedby Bosch).

    Hi,
    I called Fuel Injection Corp (925-371-6551) and spoke with Robert.
    VERY patient and helpful.
    He can/will rebuild my/your electric fuel pump.

    Question... are the pumps the same for "E" & "S" .... 1971 - 1973

    Can you tell me which models that Bosch part is for?
