    44 years of ownership...a gren '68

Just by chance, I met a guy in the local Von's parking lot, who was driving a green 1968 911. The car is 100% original. Even the paint is all original. He is the original owner. He said he purchased the car new, from Vasek Polak for $6700. Deep 6" wheels too. Really nice guy, really awesome car.
Nope..he didn't have the slightest interest in selling it... but original cars a really cool..so here are some photos I snapped quickly with the cell-phone.

Reminds me of the 356 I had for a while, with rusty door bottoms. I loved that car because I would drive it anywhere and park it anywhere. What a liberating experience it - and must be for this guy, to park in a space like that and even way over to one side!

I am just as amazed that the car and owner have flown under the radar from the typical early 911 clubs and websites, in California no less. The guy must live in a cave!

Love it. Looks like 5.5" Fuchs with 165 tires.

Did you meet this guy in Westlake Village, CA by any chance? I met him too, in the parking lot of a Starbucks. He's a very nice guy, and said he drives it all the time. ...He wasn't interested in selling then either.
