    All
Went to start my car after sitting for 5 months. When I stored it I added a liberal dose of Stabil Marine (blue) with a last fill of 94 octane. After turning the key on to pressurize the system ,I noticed that the pump continued to run on high speed. So I decided to check the engine bay and found fuel dripping out of all of the ports of the fuel filter. I am happy that it was in a cold/stationary mode.

I intend to replace the filter. Some questions that I have: The braided s/s fuel lines have hose clamps to the threaded fitting ends. Is this stock or a retrofit? The fuel looks to be dipping from the hose clamps Do the fittings have a seal between them and the fuel filter/console or is it a compression fitting? Is it possible that the inside of the braided fuel lines have collapsed from the ethanol?
Any other precautionary work that might be recommended?
    Thanks,

Stainless lines can leak just like any other rubber hose, that is what is under all that braid. More than likely it is just an ordinary hose clamp connection inside of a dummy hose clamp end.

    Ed:
Thanks for reponding. Are you suggesting to tighten up on all of the hose clamps? Is it likely that would they all loosen or do you think that it is something that happened over
5 months of storage? ie drying out?
    Thanks,

You can try just tightening the clamps, but I suspect you'll end up replacing hose. If you do, unless you just really like that stainless braid look, I'd just use ordinary metric fuel hose.
