hello,i am restoring a 1972 911e but the engine is out of 1972s according to the numbers and p.o.the question is ,do i paint the shroud to 911e colors (green) or red for an ''S'' engine?what do you guys think?what would be best?if you where going to buy this car which color would you like to see on shroud?thank you much.

If the car is an "E" then the shroud should be green. It really depends on what you'd like to do with
your car, keep it original or personalize it.

The shroud color is there to identify the engine. If the engine is a true S (by serial # and components) then use the red shroud.
