    RS's at Sloan Cars

Wondering if anyone has more information on the RS's at Sloan Cars advertised in the last Excellence.
#0193 White/Green graphics was listed for $420k and shows up as sold on the website.
#1334 Viper Green is listed for $399,500 in the magazine but I don't see it anywhere on the website.
    Thanks, Bill

I still own 1334 and it was never supposed to be advertised for sale. I called Sloan to ask about it's value and he claimed to have many buyers that would pay "all the money". I told him I wanted to think about it. The next thing I know he emails me a sales agreement and two days later emails me a copy of his typical advertisement (pushy is an understatement) and there is "a" viper green RS. I say it this way as the car in the advertisement is not my RS. I immediately email and call him to advise that he was not to put my car in any ads as the car is not for sale. Ten days later, Excellence Magazine arrives and there is "a" RS for sale with my vin number listed in the ad. When I saw this, I called him and we had some words. He has never seen my car and made representations in the ad that were inappropriate and which may, or may not be true. He stated it has all matching glass. I did not know that to be true until I checked after reading his ad. He said it has all matching panels. Perhaps, it is, but I have never checked! It has an nos 7r case replacement (fully documented) and he was told that, but stated otherwise in the ad.

Wow that is totally crazy. There have been quite a few weird stories about him and his business practices over the years but this tops them all.

WOW...I've heard weird things about Sloan, but THIS takes the CAKE!! That is TOTAL fraud.
John, glad you still have the car..I HOPE you keep. And, if you do sell it, KEEP IT AWAY FROM SLAON. I mean, is there any legal recourse for something like this? Unbelievable !!!

I am without a doubt keeping the car Stacy. Good to hear from you btw. Yeah, this guy blew me away with his practices. He is a dummy as he could have built a relationship with a long term Porsche guy (me)!

Raj has some good points which hold true with guys like this. The good thing that came from this is my renewed interest in a very cool car. Perhaps, I have Sloan to thank for that!

I will run when I hear his name in the future.
