    Cool Paris/Dakar livery?

I still can't decide on the paint for my White Car. Dalmatian Blue maybe? The Missus is lobbying heavily for it. I like Gold.

Sorry Jens, my vote is with Heidi and the blue.
Gold is ...well...gold. It is one of my favorites but gold needs trim to set it off and looks too much like a street car.
I know there are a bunch of racers out there with gold, but that is my .02.

if we're talking paint, i say blue.. maybe gold anodized trim instead of chrome for bright work? maybe thats too gaudy..

Yeah, I know mike, kind of out of character. I could just paint the rest of the car in white primer to make it uniformly basterdly.

B-b-but Harvey, I was thinking a minimalist, purposeful Gold.

Knowing that Jens appreciates speed above all else:

I vote that you sand it down to bare metal and then spray it with WD-40 every day. It'll be lighter without paint and maybe the WD will help with the drag coefficient. By my calculations with what you save on prep and paint you could purchase several years worth of WD-40.
