    1978-1989 Porsches

    Has anyone here been watching the market on the SC/Carrera market, especially low miles cars ?? Looks as if the Community has taken notice and these model years are on the go ....... just sayin ' ?

    Couldn't agree more and makes perfect sense. More and more people view these as "vintage" cars and bargains considered what they do for their price. The ultimate "vintage driver" as early 911s get priced out of the "driver" category for many.

    Take an advice from old europe: buy a PERFECT carrera 3.0 , turbo 3.0 and SC.

    Another great Impact Bumper car, currently for sale with only 35,000 miles; Drive this for 1/2 the cost of a 911 Softie, 1/3 of the cost of a 356 Cab..... just as classy.

    Hhmmm, maybe I'll just keep my 75. Have noticed this too. A friend just bought a really nice, carefully used 84 Carrera for what I think was a bargain. Great buy that was done under the radar of the regular Porsche buying sites.
