Please critique my auction ad for '65 911 VIN # 300278

I'm about to post this ad on ebay for my '65 911 and thought I would run it by you guys for critique first. Ebay won't let you change it once it's posted. Too much info? Not enough? I'm working on finishing the photos. Would love your suggestions.

    Thanks

I think it's very well done, and I'm dang good at ebay ads. You've covered most of it; condition (good and bad very important) and the history. I usually like to add "what it needs", but sometimes that's redundant when you list out the bad stuff. Lots of pics - always good. When you have a reader, you want the result to be that he has no more questions to ask. But, alas, I'm left with one: IT'S AN AWESOME CAR - WHY ARE YOU SELLING!?!

Should this model have a flat rear engine panel rather than recessed for stickers?
I don't really know, just asking?

Nice ad and lovely patina. Good luck.

Actually, this car is the first known 911 with the indented rear latch panel. #238 has a flat panel, and #279 has an indented panel like mine. My theory is that #238's body shell was made in '64 and it sat at the factory over the holiday before being completed in the first few days of January production.

I'm selling because I'm now a single income family and I can't afford to invest the big money that it takes to restore a car like this properly.

Thanks for the advice and well wishes!

awesome car - would be helpful to have pictures of VIN tag/stamp and also the engine number -- I did not see them in the separate link (apologize if I missed them) -- one of the main thing I look for on cars I buy sight unseen is confirmation on the VIN.....

awesome car -- hope it goes to a good home.....

The only thing I'd change is that I'm sure you meant the washer bottle is in the right FRONT fender.

The best auctions happen when an early S guy starts the bidding - thank me later. This will be interesting when the Germans wake up 5 hours from now.

As a business owner who's seen the ups and downs, I completely understand. Car is fantastic; you should do well in the sale.
