1965 Three Digit VIN Stamping Locations Help?

Can someone tell me specifically where the factory stamped the last three digits of the VIN on 65MY cars? To my knowledge, they are on the front fenders (headlight bucket?), trunk lid, engine lid, and doors. If one were to try and find them, where exactly do you look? Thanks.

Thanks Dave. Can anybody post locations of the trunk and engine lids? I seem to remember they are somewhere near the hinge locations?

I don't have a picture handy Scott, but the engine lid number is viewed from the top, on the right side of the center divider.

Perfect, thanks guys. Anyone have a photo of the trunk lid location. I understand it is under the driver's side hinge.

I have not yet seen photos of the front lid number, so I hope someone can supply that.

Alan, your photos seem to have an X along with the 3 digits. Can you offer an explanation, and perhaps the full VIN.
