    Frank - look closer. That is a Mercedes or something alike. Sure ain't no VW! Check out that passenger door.

    Oh, back onto the subject car. Gotta like that sport seat. It would fit my SWT well. convert this car back to a softie, install a 5 speed and you have a winner!

    Too bad the '68 is a Sporto; car would have been sold 5 times over by now if it had a manual trans.

    Thanks for that info Teenchy; I'll take a VW 21 window over the Benz any day. The fact that a 912 engine bolts right in helps too

    Certainly the VW has a bigger following, though I have to wonder how hard it would be to transplant a Sprinter drivetrain into that M-B bus.
