So what to do with this car- restore or?
It looks to be in good condition? It will certainly reflect its originality and quality if it is left in this condition, just carefully fix the issues that are bad/broken. Cars like this tells a great and importent Porsche history and keep all the small details from the production in early 1965 for the future.
Proffesionaly restored cars are for the eyes, original untouched cars like this is for the heart!

Yeah, that was my dilemma with this car and why I decided to sell...it's not quite nice enough to enjoy as it is with that chipped up repaint that isn't quite the correct color. It's a perfect base though for a great restoration...but a great restoration costs $100k+ like on that RM auction car.Originally Posted by E911
This same previous owner has a '66 911 in slate gray with red vinyl that has been in his family since new. I have a deposit on it and will pay for it after I get the money from this one. That car is already a *very* nice driver...will post pics of it once it gets home.
