    Marchal Alternator

    Can parts be obtained for rebuilding?

    My factory 39 year old, 170,000 mile, Marchal alternator appears to have finally quit.

    I don't even know if I can use it as a core when I get a rebuilt Bosch unit!

    I know they can because a local place here in Ft. Worth rebuilds ours, don't see why others couldn't also.

    Just dropped mine off yesterday for a rebuild here in Albany, NY. I was quoted a price of $139-$159. The vendor said that they had done these before.
